York’s Foss Bridge House Set for a Italian Takeover
York’s Foss Bridge House—famous for its time as the home of FR Stubbs ( when ironmongering was all the rage) and later as the posh-ish Loch Fyne is about to get a fresh twist: Marzano Italian Grill is moving in!
So, soon you’ll be able to enjoy a hearty lasagna in a building that’s seen everything from rustic hardware to upscale seafood.
Marzano’s owner, Salem Khalifa, has big plans to preserve what is one of my favourite York buildings by adding pasta.
The grand opening is slated for later this year, but until then, you can still get your pizza fix at the original Fossgate spot that serves up authentic Italian cuisine including pizzas, calzones and pastas as well as some great gluten free options.
