Get ready to laugh your socks off, York! The inaugural York Comedy Festival is set to tickle your funny bone on Sunday, July 6, 2025, nestled within the historic charm of York Museum Gardens. And guess what? Comedy heavyweights Katherine Ryan and Dara Ó Briain are headlining!
But wait, there’s more! The lineup also boasts:
• The ever-funny Maisie Adam
• The always-energetic Joel Dommett
• The mystically hilarious Clinton Baptiste
• The delightfully absurd Angelos Epithemiou
• The rising star Vittorio Angelone

This festival is part of the Live at York Museum Gardens series, which has previously rocked the city with acts like Shed Seven, Jack Savoretti, and Peter Doherty. This year, they’re mixing it up with comedy and music, featuring performances by Elbow and the legendary Nile Rodgers & CHIC.
