Coppergate just got a little bit sparklier – Lovisa, the high-street hero of affordable jewellery, has officially opened its doors right in the heart of York. If you’re into stackable rings, statement earrings, ear piercings, or just a cheeky browse when you’re meant to be doing errands – this one’s for you.
What’s the Vibe?
Lovisa is like the pick ’n’ mix of the accessories world – think bold, dainty, minimalist or mega bling, depending on your mood (or outfit). You’ve probably seen them at the York Designer Outlet, but this is their first store in the city centre, and they’ve gone all out.
It’s bright, shiny, and dangerously good for impulse buys. You’re welcome.
Where is it?
You’ll find it in Coppergate, nestled between Primark and Fenwick, so you can pop in for a necklace and somehow leave with a new outfit and a Toblerone the size of your head.

Yes, really. If you’re in the market for a new piercing and a pair of cute hoops to go with it, Lovisa’s got you. Just ask in store for availability – no dark back rooms or dodgy chairs in sight.
